You've probably started to recognize the pattern by now, we love telling you the story of how our products are born, where the ideas come from, and how they come to fruition. The story that follows is the story of our new baby card collection, the lovely little cards that'll announce, when the time is right, the arrival of your pride and joy.
In 2020, during our first lockdown, we were all willing to bet on the likelihood of a babyboom. We saw the little belly bumps get bigger and bigger, and the good news began to spread: "is it a girl? a boy?" and it was on one of those days that one of our mums-to-be asked the question "why don't we make new baby cards?". Well, actually, why don't we? We're already printing the pregnancy photos, the first steps and all the steps that follow, why not help you break the news of your new baby? The question was raised, and we did our due diligence in finding the answer: we're going to do it.
Well, okay, obviously it wasn't that simple. We had to think, probe, draw, learn, test, and test again, and eventually launch. To get there, we had to meet your main criteria: new baby cards, high quality, printed on relatively thick card paper, on which the colours would stand the test of time, with a big photo, or several smaller ones and elegant text that would be easily customisable. Expectations were high, but we were ready to meet them. And we did it well. With new machinery, THE right card paper, slightly textured, we got started on the design. Several months, cards, and tests later, we're proud to present to you today our Card Shop, and within it, this collection of new baby cards that we hope will make you as happy as it did us.
We look foward to hearing about the birth of your children, to reading your comments, to helping you make this marvelous announcement to your loved ones, and to knowing your children will find these cards sometime in the next 20 years, and that they, too, will relish in the nostalgia like we do when we find ours. Okay, it's a little more than 20 years for us... if we're being honest.
